ÀBÍKÚ – This topic is not understood even by initiates. ÀBÍKÚ means in Yoruba; Abi – that which possess and Ikú - Death, or that which possesses Death. ÀBÍKÚ are the soul of children that die, that they die in a form of Sacrifice to Save the Mother from Death itself (Irunmole Ikú). These Teachings came from the Spirit TATA G, a Spiritual Emissary of Baba Odùdúwà. Note: ÀBÍKÚ attach to the mother for Karmic situations that both souls have with each other, so that the ÀBÍKÚ soul can Save the Mother from dying, so the baby dies instead of the Mother, this is the explanation of this topic that Baba Odùdúwà gave once. The important thing here is that the Sacrifice of this Spirit, in order to Save the Mother, is that the spirit is giving his opportunity of living in this world to give the opportunity to continue living in this material plane. The Spiritual Merit of the ÀBÍKÚ Soul is a Great one. Usually they give a negative conception to the ÀBÍKÚ, that answer of Baba Odùdúwà surprise all of us. But he said that for special reasons we have the Power of the EBO (Ritual Sacrifice) so we can save both, the mother and the ÀBÍKÚ Soul.
