THE ÓDÙN OF ÒSÁ (9) FROM ŞÀNGÓ:

Verse recited by Baba Odùdúwà through his ẸLẸ̀GÚN (Medium): ÒSÁ (9) with ŞÀNGÓ: ÒSÁ (9 Cowries mouth up). ÒSÁ (9), Shango has exclaimed and has sent 9 Warriors raising their voice, intoning the Hymn of Battle and Revolution. ÒSÁ, the one who takes away the crown of the King to transform the (common) person into a new King, the one who transform the coward and gives him the Valor to end the life of the Brave (valiant) man. ÒSÁ, the one who has come and he have dispersed with the harmony of the Wind. That is, you Baba ÒSÁ. The one who has transmitted the voice, the one who has transmitted the exclamation of the King to make it fall over his people. ÒSÁ has exclaim and he has turn against the King to warn him, that if he doesn’t perform the duties of his post, that if he doesn’t fulfill his job with his people, they are going to give his crown to the best man for the post. Again the King has exclaimed ÒSÁ, creating, invoking and mentioning the 9 young Elders that came from Heaven to be his counselors. ÒSÁ has exclaimed and invoke again the Young elders to take care and protect the King. ÒSÁ has exclaimed and intone the Secret canticle to make the Young elders watch the Works of the King. ÒSÁ change the life of the beggar and transform him into a King. ÒSÁ change the life of the King and transform him into a beggar. In the revolution and in the change holds its major enigma (mystery). This has been the verse of Baba ÒSÁ. Note: Baba Odùdúwà says that each ÒRÌŞÀ has a particular Verse for the same ÓDÙN (Oracle Sign) for example, Òfún (10 Cowries Shell Mouths up) has a difference Oracle Verse when it comes for ÒGÚN, and another different Verse when it comes for ÒShUN, and for each ÒRÌŞÀ. So for each ÒRÌŞÀ, each has specific 16 ÓDÙN Verse. Also for Ẹ́rindínlógún (16 Cowries Shell Oracle) each ÒRÌŞÀ has 256 Specific Verses, 256 for Şàngó, 256 for Ògún, etc.
