Teaching by Baba Odùdúwà: Death is one of the strangest experiences for the human being, though many have been through it many times. When you die you become a self without feelings. The hard part is when a spirit remembers who he or she was, and does not detach from this Earth. When a being is before the "Absolute Truth", which is Death, He or she is before the Great Truth of the Universe, and you realize the reason of everything, the beauty of the Creaor Being. Death is the detachment of the material things, to become a spiritual universal being, to return to the origin of everything. What is your origin? It's the Greatest Paradox in the Universe. That which is, and cannot be, that destroys the whole universe. If you come to understand, you become neither an ÒRÌŞÀ nor a Spirit (Égún), you become a Self Realized "I" (an ỌLỌ́FIN that is an Esoteric title to a self realized “I” like Baba Odùdúwà did), ỌLỌ́KUN is a god, but when you understand that paradox, you become a self realized "I". I am not Spirit (Égún or Égúngún), I am not GOD (ỌLỌ́FIN Ọ̀RUN), I understood it, a Whole and a Nothing. But to achieve that, the person can spend a lot of time. The ÒRÌŞÀ was touch by the Divine, he or she has seated you at his table, the ÒRÌŞÀ has prostrated himself at his Divine feet, and He lifted them praising them and by filling them of grandeur. An ÉGÚN (spirit of Light), he or she died and decided to be a Spiritual Guide in order to spiritually feed and have their spiritual points, or merits. One is everything and it is nothing, when you understand that you become a self realized "I". A brother comments: What about the Buddhas (Shakyuamuni, Padmasambhava) who reached Spiritual Enlightenment? Bàbá Odùdúwà replies: Those are self realized "I’s", the difference with them (Buddhas, Bodhisattvas) is that they left the spiritual world to become incarnated people again. The ỌLỌ́FIN AYÉ are many in our universe, is a title given to those High Souls, they also serve as the Spiritual High Judge in the Juggement before the Absolute Thuth, this is the Judgement after Death that all Human Souls go through, so Baba Oduduwa is ANUBIS, as this was the way he was worship by the Ancient Egyptians, the one who weigh and Judge the Soul after death. Baba Oduduwa is sharing the Esoteric Path of Self realization that is within his Esoteric Yoruba Tradition of ÒÒŞÀ and IFÁ. This is why Baba Oduduwa named his spiritual tradition as the Yoruba Olofin Tradition. Oduduwa also gabe the Yoruba name of his spiritual family as ẸGBẸ́ ÓDÙN ỌLỌ́FIN -The Spiritual Family of the Secret of ỌLỌ́FIN. This refers to the Secret of becoming a Self Realized "I" or an ỌLỌ́FIN. The Self Realized Conciousness of the Universe is ỌLỌ́FIN Ọ̀RUN - who in the esoteric tradition of Oduduwa is the Conscious Creator or the Artifex of Creation, He created himself out of the Universal neutral energy we know as Olódùmarè. Olódùmarè is GOD almighty but in an unconscious state, it's pure raw energy. ỌLỌ́FIN Ọ̀RUN with the use of that Universal Energy as the Artifex / Craftsman he Consciously created this Universe and all the other Parallel Universes that exist.
