Baba Odùdúwà speaks to a daughter of Ọ̀ŞUN on Humility and Greatness

IFÁLENU

Baba Odùdúwà speaks to a daughter of Ọ̀ŞUN on Humility and Greatness Sunday, August 6, 2017. What is the only way to see the greatness of life? It is to never feel bigger than Life. Do you understand? The moment you feel bigger than life, at that moment you become blind, because like that little insect you just crushed (a cockroach that came out and was crushed), you're bigger, you cannot look Nor glimpse over me. The palm tree looks at all very small, the moment you are bigger than the palm tree, you can look at your way. However, no one has been greater than life, only the foolish and ignorant are those who believe themselves to be greater than life, since their greatness, does not allow them to see the Greatness of Life. No one can be greater than Life, because even those who have engrave their name in books and texts at some point have died. When you grow up? When you are big and you lose your roots, it is when you begin to see everything that this life can give you, is when you begin to see everything significant. You understand? You should never pretend to forget your roots, whoever may be, and don’t matter where you are. You understand? The ÒRÌŞÀ is not Noble, the ÒRÌŞÀ is not Royalty. The ÒRÌŞÀ is HUMILITY. And although people pretend to adorn their palaces with gold and jewels, they will never lose the Nobility that made them be ÒRÌŞÀ, the Humility that made them to be Greatness. How many days ago did he know he was going to be here? Some days ago. Now you know where you are going to be tomorrow (at your ÒÒŞÀ Initiation Ceremony). All that you have lacked in your life, you will have lots, definitely and you can never deny that everything will be given to you based on your efforts. However, even if you have a house 10 times bigger than the one you live in now, you should never forget where you came from (your roots), you should never forget those you should worship, It is not something that I promise you, it is something that so shall be. You understand? Do you understand what you have to sacrifice in the future? For many ignoramuses you will know tomorrow, your roots will be your end, And then you will have to sacrifice the greatness of them. To magnify and make great your Kingdom. You have to Sacrifice the Greatness of the Ignorant, to strengthen, dignify and magnify your kingdom. Tomorrow you will know those who are defiled by the ignorance of their hearts, and for them your past and your roots will be small, and then you will have to sacrifice the greatness of those ignorants to dignify your roots. No one is above your past, no one is above your ancestors. You have done something that none of them have done neither achieved: Understand, the only thing that happens is that it makes them bigger, because they managed to give it to you. And then when the ignorant one approaches you, you will have to sacrifice his or her greatness. By greatness I mean what they have in their head. When I remember where I came from, it helps me to know where I'll be ... People live their lives forgetting their roots. What are you looking for before me? The Ọmọ Ọ̀ŞUN said: Your word and your blessing. From Whose hands? Give me the names of your godparents. My consent you have it already. My blessing you will count on that all the days of your life. What will be important is what will you do with it. You understand? I only ask you to keep the greatest of the Values, it is called HONOR ... What is Honor composed of? Of Loyalty, Firmness and Courage. I give weapons for two reasons: 1-To fight together with me 2- So they can kill each other Do not believe my word, my word is not the Truth. The Truth is what you do. You understand? If you have chosen, the way to dignify this whole society. Then, desire and thought that you have, I will take care of materializing it. Happy you, who knows where you will be tomorrow. My Fight is mine. Those who accompany me and continue to fight at my side, becoming personal my own interests. What are my interests? This is the Mission, to give the world a few slaps so they could be able to wake up. You understand me? This life is made up of many personalities, those who laugh, those who cry. Thus the universe will always consist of a duality, that which exists and that which opposes what exists. Its reason, its motive, will always be to exist. You can never be with those who pretend that you cease to exist. Once you achieve your goals, you have to start living as a human. You have to start enjoying life and learn from your mistakes. An Error is not a punishment. It is the way for you to learn, that you become wise. Learn from them ... Go to the Poet (Òrúnmìlà) so that he can give you his consent and blessing. Baba Odùdúwà recites a story of Ọ̀ŞUN and her Humility:

ÌTAN- on Ọ̀ŞUN by Baba Odùdúwà: They say that it was a time when Ọ̀ŞUN was a little girl who had been born in one of the most humble houses. People as well as the ÒRÌŞÀ always looked above their personal greatness. The day came when the tragedy spread and took over the world. All the ÒRÌŞÀ and all the people gathered to invoke EDUMARE (God) to serve him and to put and to propose themselves as the Saviors of the world. Each and every one went by, trying to solve that tragedy and discord that lay in the world. Wise and ignorant, great and small and all failed to solve the situation. The time came when EDUMARE began to lose and to minimize the options, decided Edumare to act of his own account, at that moment, at that instant the little Ọ̀ŞUN appeared. She swears and promised before her Creator and Father that she would solve the problem. This only cause the mockery and the reason for laughter of all those who were present, greater and smaller, wise and ignorant. Ọ̀ŞUN, sad and demeanor decided to put into action the only thing she possessed in excess, which was her courage, to go out and face such a great commitment. The days passed, the suns and the moons passed, and when EDUMARE thought that everything was lost, someone knocked at his door, and it was the little Ọ̀ŞUN, who was going to visit him humbly, ragged, tired, thirsty and hungry, but full of grace to tell him, to his Father and creator that she had fulfilled the mission that he had requested. When he looked at her, he tried to shed tears, but he bit his lips to keep from crying, and before taking any action, he took her in his arms, gave her a warm kiss, and at that moment blessed her. He asked only one favor from Ọ̀ŞUN; “Never, never reveal to anyone that you were the one that saved them, neither to the eldest nor the youngest, nor to the wise and ignorant. He took his sacred mantle, and fed her and gave her to drink, and returned Ọ̀ŞUN to her house. Time passed, and everyone sought the mystery/the incognito and sought answers from who was that magnificent being that had saved them. And then as it was and will always be, they all began to say that they were the saviors. The little Ọ̀ŞUN, looking at what was an injustice to her, could not contain her impulses and exclaimed and shouted that she had been the one who had saved them all. Everyone looked at her contemptuously and humiliatingly, they laughed and laughed at her, they ignored her. Then at that moment it was when EDUMARE was present in front of all that collective, and he took Ọ̀ŞUN of the hands and raised her, and with his fingers cleaned her tears, and at that moment with a paternal look he said to her: "My daughter you have Broken the promise, you have failed at your word. I cannot punish you, but I can magnify you, from now on you will be the smallest but the greatest one, the one who with her blood will join all those who dress in Red (ÒRÌŞÀ PUPA-the 200 Severe ÒRÌŞÀ on the Left), All those who dress in White (ÒRÌŞÀ FUNFUN-the 200 Merciful ÒRÌŞÀ of the Right) and you will be their heart (Ọ̀ŞUN is the only ÒRÌŞÀ that is at the center, that is Neutral of the 401 ÒRÌŞÀ). So that in this world and in this universe you can shed blood, first you will have to ask your consent, because you are the blood and the strength of everything ... Do you understand? You must always be the smallest and the greatest in Humility. That is where true beauty is found, that is where the true greatness of this world lies. The one who is empathetic, who is able to wipe the tears of others with his clothes, that person will be the great one, but the smallest. You understand? That is the verse that I recite for you today. Dignify it, glorify it, that when you find yourself more stunned, more disoriented, it will be the one who gives you more direction to your life. Ogbó Ató ... (Long Life and Good Health) Do you know in what world you are in? Today is one of the happiest days for you, this is the happiest moment in time. At this moment you only worry because it is hot. You do not worry because tomorrow you will die, you do not worry because tomorrow you will have, so this day is a magnificent day ... Do you understand the step you are going to take? Understand that however much you want the same, you will not be. Your life will be made up of the dignity and honor that you give to your ÒRÌŞÀ. Grow up, be big, never pretend to fly. Understands? Kings are like you, they are not born with a crown, the crown is simply put over the head.
